Missing – Milk Skateshop
The Nantes-based skate shop Milk has unveiled an amazing edit featuring their entire team. Certain segments of ‘Missing’ particularly stood out to us, such as the presence of Thibaud Fradin—which takes us several years back to the Cliché era—the opening part by Mihiel Guerhane, and the very creative closing part by Mikail Josse. Here is a lil word about the project from Thibaud Fradin, the Milkstore’s owner :
“This project started a little over two years ago with a tour in Marseille to kick it off. Then, we mainly filmed in the region with Lelion (who has been based in Nantes for quite a few years). We wanted to make a video with MILK for a long time. We had done small projects here and there, but never a project as ambitious as this one.
We celebrated the 20th anniversary of the shop at the end of 2024, so it was important for the project to be released on that occasion. Initially, we aimed to complete the project in one year, but managing a team is always complicated. Plus, it took me a while to fully dive into it because I skate less often due to work and family life (I have two children).
We also gathered footage shot by other cameramen, as more than half of the team is no longer based in Nantes. We organized one last tour in Bordeaux at the end of 2024 to speed up the project’s completion.
In any case, I hope you enjoyed the project. We do our best to support our team, particularly by helping them with equipment and creating projects like this one. Additionally, the city provided us with an incredible spot right in the center of Nantes. We filmed a lot of footage there (three-quarters of it from me, personally). With this project, we also wanted to prove that Nantes has plenty to offer when it comes to skate spots!“
